Janet
Diane Frey, 69, of Lake Jackson TX, went to be with Jesus
on October 18, 2023. Diane was born to James and Daisy
Pevoto on October 22,1953 in Bay City, Texas. Diane married
Stanley Frey , known as Sandy to Diane and friends, in
Lake Jackson , TX on November 24, 1972.
Diane
loved flowers; her favorite was hyacinths. She was a
floral designer for the first ten years of our married
life. The remaining 40 years she spent creating a loving
home for her three children and her husband.
There
is only one way to accurately describe Diane. She was
the description of what love is that is written in the
Word of God in 1 Corinthians 13. Love suffers
long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not
parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely,
does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil;
does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things,
endures all things. Love never fails.
Diane
was a Girl Scout as a child and lived the be prepared
motto. She was calm and efficient in an emergency and
an excellent tent camper. She was a childrens
Bible teacher. She was the voice of wisdom in life dilemmas.
Diane
was a very creative person. She played piano, had an
excellent singing voice, penned poetry, wrote songs,
and was an artist with floral design.
Diane
was a master in the kitchen and could create delicious
meals out of virtually nothing. A lot of her meals were
one-time experiences though, because she did them on
the fly and did not write down what she did.
Diane
remembered everyones name. She said the secret
to it was twofold: to care about people and use word
association.
Diane
loved her family with all she had and never withheld
anything she could offer them, even when she didnt
have the natural strength to give it.
Diane
is preceded in death by her parents, James & Daisy
Pevoto; and brother, James Allen Pevoto.
Diane
is survived by husband, Stanley Frey; son, Joshua Frey;
son, Jonathan Frey & spouse Misty Frey; daughter,
Kaylee Nealy; grandsons Ezekiel & Jeremiah Frey;
