Blue Ridge Soil Consulting, Inc. (BRSC) is owned and operated by Tom Hogge of Ruckersville, VA. has been in business since 2006.

Tom graduated in 1995 from James Madison University with a B.S. degree in Geology.  Upon graduation, Tom was employed for six years by NAEVA Geophysics as a geologist, and five years more as a Senior Environmental Health Specialist with the Virginia Department of Health.  He received his Authorized On-site Soil Evaluator (AOSE) certification in 2005.  

Tom is a multi-instrumentalist musician and a former member the The Virginia Ramblers bluegrass band.

Tom and his family worship at The Point Church in Charlottesville, VA, where Tom is a member of the worship music team at their Ridge Street campus.
